General
Everything in this category ranges from Must Haves to Nice to have, but don’t need. Birth is a very unpredictable experience, but it doesn’t hurt to be well prepared. In this section, we wanted to help you as much as we could in order for you to be successful.
Must Haves
●Snacks
●Water -> Great to have during labor and after.
●Gatorade -> Amazing to have during labor.
●I packed a metal straw, so I could easily drink my water/Gatorade during contractions.
●Stroller fan -> Life savor during labor.
Nice to have, but don’t need:
●Frida mom peri bottle -> I really like it and definitely worth it. However, I used it at home and used the hospital one.
●Underwear -> I used when I got home, but just used the disposable ones the hospital gives you.
●Pillow/Blanket -> We both packed a blanket, but never used it.
●Nursing pillow -> I didn’t have one at the time, but definitely would have been lot easier. However, I just used a regular pillow. But I highly recommend the My Brest Friend.
●Robe -> I packed one, but just stayed in the hospital gown the whole time
●Towel

Dad’s Hospital Bag
Hopefully, when it comes to packing for Dad, he’s doing it himself. But that doesn’t mean you can’t help him by having a list of everything he needs to pack all put together. I did this for my husband and it was so helpful for a few reasons. You’re going to be in major nesting mode and want it done ASAP. This will allow you to not be stressed out when he decided to pack last minute. Also, it makes his life easier since he will know exactly what to pack.
